Coinspaid-Backed ARIS Academy Delivers Fourth Cyprus Youth Title in Five Years

ARIS FC's U17 squad has been named Cyprus champions for 2025/26, extending a run that has seen the club's academy produce four national titles for the same generation of players in just five seasons.

As covered by Cyprus Mail, the achievement builds on a streak that started with the U13 title in 2021/22 and included an unbeaten run of around 50 matches, underscoring the consistency of a squad born mainly in 2008 and 2009.

The title race stayed tight to the finish, with APOEL, Omonia and Ayia Napa all in contention. A key win over APOEL saw ARIS come from behind at half-time before 17-year-old Artem Fisher scored a late winner. The championship was only decided on the final matchday, when ARIS drew with AEK and Omonia dropped points against Karmiotissa.

Behind the results is an academy structure now serving around 2,000 children, with a pathway designed to move players from youth football into the senior team. Several members of this year's squad already have first-team and U19 experience, and three graduates, Max Enqvist (Kalmar, Sweden), Giorgos Kestas and Alexandros Geroukalis (both AEK Athens), have moved into professional football abroad.

The program's international dimension continues to grow: the team competed in Greece's Elite Neon Cup in 2025 and will travel to the Netherlands for the Heemskerk Cup in 2026.

Coinspaid Solutions, title partner of the ARIS FC Academy, has backed the program's training camps, coaching and international travel, and gives its name to the club's Coinspaid Training Centre in Kato Polemidia. Pavel Kashuba, Strategic Leader at Coinspaid Solutions, said the company was proud to support the players' development as part of its corporate philanthropy work.

For ARIS, the focus now shifts to converting this generation's youth success into professional careers at senior level.
